Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship at Unipres?
The reason why I wanted to pursue my apprentice through Unipres is down to their great reputation within the North East automotive industry for being a company people are proud to work for within the area. I also chose Unipres due to the amount of opportunities there is to progress onto after my apprenticeship and I felt like this was a great first step down my career path.
What skills have you learnt whilst on your apprenticeship?
Whilst in my apprenticeship I have learnt a lot, one thing being how to carry out recruitment successfully.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about doing an apprenticeship?
I would advise them to research the company which they applied for and make sure the company is the right fit for them. I would also tell them that an apprenticeship is a great way to gain a qualification whilst earning money and improving your career prospects.
What are you most proud of doing on your apprenticeship?
I am most proud of developing my skills further within the last 6 months of my apprenticeship, enabling me to complete more challenging tasks as times go on.
What do you hope to have achieved in the next five years?
Within the next 5 years I hope to have completed my apprenticeship and move onto a higher role within the company and also have achieved my Level 5 in Business Management. As for personal goals I hope to achieve lots of traveling all around the world.
