We have an opportunity for a Design Change Coordinator to join our small Commercial team who will be responsible for data management during New Model Introductions and Current Model Change Control.

Salary: £33,497.04pa to £35,259.48pa (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, Control and Update BOM structures for new and existing products based on Customer and internal information
  • Manage receipt, interrogation and distribution of 3D CAD
  • Support Data Validation and create Parts Lists from RFQ Pack
  • Communicate and Control Design Change information
  • Create Composition Lists and Work Instructions
  • Provide regular updates internally across departments and externally with the customer
  • Support New Model Introduction Activity
  • Create Modification and Introduction Timing Plans
  • Support VA/VE Cost Reduction Activities
  • To ensure that all work is completed in line with company policies and procedures
  • Any other duties as requested to assist in the effective management of the department

Skills / Experience /Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with attention to detaail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Demonstrate and understanding of BOM and Part Structures
  • Computer literate with excel skills essential
  • Experience of using NX and/or Catia V5 would be beneficial
