We have an opportunity for a Design Change Coordinator to join our small Commercial team who will be responsible for data management during New Model Introductions and Current Model Change Control.
Salary: £33,497.04pa to £35,259.48pa (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, Control and Update BOM structures for new and existing products based on Customer and internal information
- Manage receipt, interrogation and distribution of 3D CAD
- Support Data Validation and create Parts Lists from RFQ Pack
- Communicate and Control Design Change information
- Create Composition Lists and Work Instructions
- Provide regular updates internally across departments and externally with the customer
- Support New Model Introduction Activity
- Create Modification and Introduction Timing Plans
- Support VA/VE Cost Reduction Activities
- To ensure that all work is completed in line with company policies and procedures
- Any other duties as requested to assist in the effective management of the department
Skills / Experience /Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with attention to detaail
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Project Management skills
- Demonstrate and understanding of BOM and Part Structures
- Computer literate with excel skills essential
- Experience of using NX and/or Catia V5 would be beneficial
