Unipres (UK) Limited requires a Finance Controller to support the Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will involve supporting with the preparation of the financial statements, management accounts and offer support to other members of the Department.

Salary: Up to £45,255.48 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of the monthly Detailed Sales Analysis
  • Prepare actual v budgets overhead reports
  • Variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors
  • Capex project spend control and analysis
  • Vendor tooling spend control and analysis
  • Support with the preparation of the VAT return & Making Tax Digital
  • Support with tax pack preparation for outsourced provider
  • Prepare statutory accounts and disclosure notes
  • Approval of payroll and ad hoc bank payments
  • Finance point of contact for HMRC Imports & Exports documentation/controls

Skills / Experience /Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant accountancy qualification
  • Excellent numeracy skills with proven finance experience
  • Manufacturing or automotive experience is desirable
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, accurately, prioritise workload and be self-motivated
  • Attention to detail with the ability to analyse data and present information to various levels
  • Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills a must
  • Previous Customs experience is desirable but not essential

Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:45am – 1:45pm
