Last week Unipres Training Academy attended Stemfest 2024 at the Beacon Of Light which hosted 3000 school children from around the North East.

STEMFest is a dynamic event, coordinated by the STEM Hub and delivered by RTC North.

The aim of the event is to kindle enthusiasm and clarity among young minds in the North East about the wonders of STEM subjects, guiding the next generation towards rewarding careers in STEM.

We brought our VR welding machine aswell as our handskills tests which gave pupils the change to see what it is like to work at our manufacturing plant.

Georgia Hales, Training Co-ordinator said: “We had a fantastic and busy 3 days at STEMfest 2024 showcasing and inspiring future STEM professionals with over 3,000 school children. It was great to provide information about the manufacturing industry and the company to both Primary and Secondary schools across the North East”
