Embracing the ethos of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, Unipres is a traditional manufacturer with modern values and practices.
At Unipres we create opportunities, strive for excellence, provide customer satisfaction and make cars safer.

Unipres UK – Family Ties
As part of the Unipres UK 30th anniversary celebrations, Apprentice Maintenance Technicians, Grace Edmundson and Jack Simm sat down with their fathers Senior Supervisor Colin and Tutor/Assessor Steve to discuss roles at the Washington factory and how a global company works hard to attract young local talent.
It is not unusual for several generations of the same family to work at Unipres UK. Both Colin and Steve have been employed at the Washington plant since it opened, 30 years ago and now passing on their knowledge, experience and passion for the business to the next generation of engineers and technicians.

Unipres works with the North East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (NEAAN), a group of companies spearheading the drive for employers and young people to commit to apprenticeships.
