At the North East Automotive Alliance Megan Gorman, Junior Engineer in our Press department was named Apprentice of the Year
She said “It feels amazing and that I’m honoured to be named apprentice of the year, it’s a total shock I never even thought I’d be shortlisted, never mind win!
“I’d like to thank Rob Dodds and Unipres for helping and guiding me along the way, because I wouldn’t be where I am without him!”
The prestigious awards was held at Ramisde Hall on March 28.
Megan was up against Holly Herron from ZF Group and Liam Wilson from Marelli
Rob Dodds, Controller of the Unipres Training Academy, said ” We are extremely proud of Megan for winning this award, it shows what you can achieve with hard work and dedication.
“Hopefully this is just the start and she goes on to have a very successful career in the automotive sector working for Unipres”
Megan is the first ever female to qualify as a junior engineer in the press department at Unipres.
