With an outstanding stable of apprentices, National Apprenticeship Week, is always an event worth celebrating at Unipres (UK) Limited.

The business took the opportunity to celebrate all those who achieve their apprenticeship programme of the previous year and put out the call for department nominations of “Stand Out Apprentice.”

There were some outstanding submissions from a diverse range of departments and apprenticeships, but the “Stand Out” apprentice was Rhys Goulden.

Chosen for his exceptional achievements throughout his time at Unipres, Rhys’ many achievements have included achieving a management degree alongside his HNC while recovering from major surgery before going on to become a Junior Engineer and working towards his Engineering Degree Apprenticeship.

Unipres Managing Director, Gary Graham, said: “As well as being a strong, respected team member, Rhys continues to excel working on a multi-million pound project that requires a great deal of innovation to meet business lean manufacturing and continuous improvement philosophy.”
